The following is a step by step guide to our process:
1. First we will sit down with you and discuss what you want to accomplish with your site. Things we will want to know is: What kind of site are you looking to develop? Is it a brochure site or a portfolio site? Do you want to be able to edit the pages of your site yourself? These kinds of questions enable us to give you an accurate quote.
2. From there we will put together a fixed rate proposal outlining exactly what you are getting for what price. The only time the price changes is if you go outside the scope of the project.
3. Once contracted J Maze Design will come up with a few "test sites" that you can pick and choose the future look and feel of your new web site. You can repeat this process until you get what you want or envisioned for your site.
4. Once you have decided on the new look of your web site we will begin adding your content and/or any programming your site entails. You may want to have you content ready ahead of time to speed up the process. If you do not have content or need help writing your content - we offer copy writing services as an additional fee.
5. Once all programming and content has been entered to the new look of your site, we do a thorough testing of your new site. We test your site In different browsers and modem speeds to make sure a wide variety of viewers will all be seeing the same thing.
6. Finally the launch! J Maze Design will handle uploading your new site to your hosting company or on your own servers.
We are a full service web design firm, meaning that we will take care of everything. From registering your domain name, to the development of your site, to the hosting of your site, to maintaining it after you launch.
A small web site (from 1- 15 pages) can take anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months to launch. A larger site can take on average 2 - 6 months. The amount of time it takes to launch a site really depends on how quickly the client can provide us with feedback and content.
The Granite Rose's site features a fresh, modern look that highlights its beautiful grounds. Brides looking to plan their weddings will find a wealth of information about menus, locations, pricing and vendors. We provided the Granite Rose with a custom content management system where staff can add/update/delete slideshows, news, and events. This allows the Granite Rose to keep the site current and helps keep visitors informed of the happenings at the venue.
