J Maze Design is looking for an experienced web designer with a passion to create compelling and useful designs that impact the complete user experience. As a web designer you will be responsible for creating web sites from beginning to end - meeting with clients to discuss design ideas and goals, creating designs based on their wishes but also adding your own creativity and input. You will also be responsible for maintaining existing web sites and creating custom graphics on an as needed basis. Time management and attention to detail for this position is essential to your success.
Other responsibilities include (On occasion) creating in house marketing materials such as magazine advertisements, brochures, and more. Print experience is helpful but not necessary - this is a web design position - if you prefer print design this position is not for you.

The Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for farming, cultivating and generating sales in new areas. The AE will work with clients/contacts from prospecting through the sales process, then throughout the project as the Project Manager/Client Liaison. The AE will generate demand by determining prospect needs, delivering our value proposition, qualifying the opportunity and closing on next steps. Goals will be achieved through effective territory planning, proactive account mapping, identifying new business opportunities and customer expansion. We are looking for a smart and experienced account manager to help J Maze Design break into new markets. The position requires outstanding sales, communication, and time management skills as well as a gift for developing and maintaining relationships while having the full understanding that customer service is NOT a lost art.

The Experienced web Programmer will develop code in PHP for our interactive Web Sites. This position will be working on numerous projects at any given time that range from Custom Content Management Systems to Custom E-Commerce Shopping Carts.
SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop applications utilizing object-oriented PHP4 and 5
- Analyze and optimize PHP4 procedural-style code base of existing applications
- Adhere to defined standards for documentation and coding styles
- Work with a growing and agile team of developers in a team
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
What is required for this position - 2+ years experience working with:
- Knowledge of structured methodologies, logical and physical database design, and business process engineering
- Thorough understanding of MySQL and PHP integration on both legacy code and new projects.
- PHP, HTML and Javascript, XML, SOAP
- Relational databases, MySQL, and LAMP.
- Business Intelligence Tools knowledge (a plus)
- Collaborate with other team members to build and implement new products
- 2+ years of full-time professional PHP programming experience on enterprise-level applications;
- Strong object-oriented analysis and design background;
- Solid understanding of working in a LAMP environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Credit Card processing experience (e.g. gateway APIs is a plus)
- FreeBSD Server Maintenance & Security practices (a must)
- Strong logic, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience with PHP and SQL (especially MySQL)
- Excellent web development experience as a whole. Front end exposure is a plus (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with Apache Linux/FreeBSD
J Maze Design is looking for another web programmer to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for accurate and timely completion of a wide range of projects.
These projects will be done in conjunction with our design and project management team.
Projects range in complexity from very simple HTML to data-driven applications written in ASP, PHP/ MySQL.
A successful web programmer is extremely organized, motivated, detail oriented and capable of maintaining our high standard of quality in a fast-paced environment. You will be working closely with other members of J Maze Design in order to complete tasks outside of your own ability along with a moderate to significant amount of interaction with clients. You will be required to quickly gain a complete understanding of our company and the services we provide.
Additional duties include: assisting our clients with Technical support issues related to web hosting.
